  • NEST (News): NEST has teamed up with The Fifth Avenue Association for the second year in a row to scent Fifth Avenue from 47th Street to 59th street. Stroll this world-famous stretch of New York City lined with elaborate window displays, dazzling lights, and holiday shops, all while the aroma of Holiday fills the air. The festivities continue nearby at Bergdorf Goodman where you can shop Holiday to bring the beloved scent from the streets into your home.

  • Lights on the Cobble (New): Holidays in Meatpacking have arrived! Lights On The Cobbles is back, and this year they’re introducing something magical with our Gansevoort Forest! Stroll through a stunning illuminated winter wonderland featuring over 100 trees and plants, sparkling lights, and their iconic snow people and colonnade.   • Sunn’s (Opening): One of New York City’s most popular pop-ups, Banchan by Sunny, is getting its very own brick-and-mortar location in Chinatown. Opening 12/18, Sunn’s is Sunny Lee’s first solo brick-and-mortar spot with just 16 seats, a seasonal menu, and a wine list curated by Parcelle.

  • Wolfe’s Den (Opening): Wolfe's Den, opening on January 2, 2025, inside Elsie Rooftop in Bryant Park, is a new private membership club catering to Midtown Manhattan's corporate executives in finance, law, real estate, and healthcare. Inspired by Elsie de Wolfe, the club offers exclusive events, gourmet dining, a digital networking concierge called "Ask Elsie," and annual memberships starting at $1,000, with the fee applied as a credit toward food and beverage accounts.

  • Chef’s Table Pop-Up at Han Dynasty (12/17): Han Dynasty in Dekalb Market Hall hosts a monthly Chef’s Table. With just ten seats the tasting includes 15 courses featuring both classics and off-menu items. Learn more here.

  • Mirazur X Eleven Madison Park (1/8 - 1/9): Eleven Madison Park is hosting Mauro Colagreco’s iconic restaurant, Mirazur, for two joint dinners highlighting the creative potential for plant-based cooking and celebrating both Chef Daniel Humm and Chef Colagreco's UNESCO Ambassadorships. The night will feature an eight-course menu, showcasing Mirazur and Eleven Madison Park’s signature techniques and recipes. Book here.

The Ritz-Carlton has collaborated with Italian fashion house Missoni by transforming the exclusive beachfront of The Ritz-Carlton, Bali into the iconic Missoni Resort Club. Missoni brings its signature Resort Club aesthetic and motifs to the cliffside beach resort in Nusa Dua, overlooking the Indian Ocean. Guests of The Ritz-Carlton, Bali will have exclusive access to a curated Missoni capsule collection of signature resort wear, available only at the property, alongside a Missoni pop-up store.

W Aspen is collaborating with HaSalon for an exclusive pop-up through April 2025. HaSalon will operate daily, starting from après-ski hours, offering two distinct dining experiences. Early evenings until 8 PM will feature innovative cuisine in a more intimate, music-filled setting. Afterwards, the space will transform into a lively atmosphere, combining food with dancing and an electric ambiance.

Ensenada, the acclaimed Brooklyn-based Mexican seafood and mezcal restaurant, is opening in Miami! Chef Luis Herrera and owner Bryce David are joining forces with Ahmet Erkaya, founder of Mandolin Aegean Bistro, to bring their contemporary Latin American coastal cuisine to the Vagabond Hotel. Chef Luis Herrera, formerly of acclaimed restaurants Cosme and Blanca, infuses his Venezuelan roots into Ensenada's cuisine while embracing Mexican culinary traditions. Flore des Robert and Pauline Laurent are the co-founders of La Bonne Brosse, a brand that has transformed the hairbrush market by creating luxurious, artisanal hairbrushes designed for all hair types. They met when they were students, and come from backgrounds in the beauty industry, with over 15 years of experience each. La Bonne Brosse, launched in 2020 in France and 2024 in the US, is now distributed by high-end retailers like Sephora and Le Bon MarchΓ©, and the brand has become known for its commitment to artisanal craftsmanship and sustainable production methods.

Tell us about yourself!

We're Pauline & Flore, founders of La Bonne Brosse. We have been friends for 20 years and, after 15 years working in the beauty industry with large companies, we have decided to embark on this entrepreneurial journey and create the most qualitative hairbrush you've always dreamed of, handcrafted in France from local, responsibly sourced, noble materials with no plastic.

What inspires you to uncover more?

The thrill of discovery and the opportunity to connect with diverse perspectives. We're driven by curiosity, that's the reason why we decided to quit our comfortable/cushy job and start something new. The quest for knowledge never really endsβ€” every new fact, story, or insight offers a doorway to something deeper, and helping others find that path is incredibly motivating. Stay curious.

Where is your go-to spot when in NYC?

We love staying at The Standard High Line. Views from the bedrooms are exceptional and we love the neighborhood. Walking on the high line or along the river after a long flight also helps with the jet lag. Plus, it's super easy to get anywhere from there.  But we heard the Surrey just reopened and is right by Central Park. So I think we will try that next.  And we love Eel Bar (Basque cuisine revisited) on Broome if you're able to get a table...

Is there a secret, local-only spot you can share?

Once a year, we both (separately) book a detox week at La PensΓ©e Sauvage where we do nothing but sleep, walk in the beautiful nature of the Vercors region, eat veggies, and reset. We come back re-energized and grateful.

Where is your bucket-list destination? What makes you excited about visiting?

French Polynesia! Sandy beaches, crystal clear water, warm and welcoming locals, provide an immersive cultural experience that’s unlike anywhere else. There we also visit Ginette hotel in Moorea, a small chic boutique hotel. #IYKYK vibes. Plus, they have amazing hair over there which might justify a business trip...
