A new month approaching means new openings! From cocktail bars to rooftops, here’s our list of the latest openings in NYC: Michelin-recommended See No Evil Pizza, currently tucked into the southbound 1 train concourse at 50th Street, is coming above ground this spring with See No Evil Slice at 11 Waverly Place in Greenwich Village. Expect 20" thin-crust round pies, Calabrian chili-honey wings, Sicilian pigs in a blanket, and a 28-seat corner spot pouring beer and wine daily from noon. The Rockaway Hotel + Spa will welcome Rockaway Beach Bakery to the hotel this April! Founded by Pastry Chef Tracy Obolsky, the neighborhood bakery will bring its from-scratch pastries and coffee to the hotel’s first floor. Opening March 25th on the Upper East Side, Dear Margo brings Eastern Mediterranean to Lexington Avenue from Dean Pashalis of Anassa Taverna, named after his grandmother and helmed by chef Efi Naon. Expect laffa baked to order in a pizza oven, smoky baba ghanoush, signature skewers, and floor-to-ceiling accordion doors that open onto the street come warmer months. La Esquina, the downtown New York institution on the corner of Lafayette and Kenmare is ushering in a new era with a fully refurbished agave-focused bar taking over its ground floor Cantina, opening as Mezcaleria by La Esquina. Mezcal, rare tequilas, natural wines, and shareable dishes inspired by regional Mexican traditions will be the focus. Sadie's brings New American comfort food and an indoor-outdoor bar experience to the Seaport, with year-round programming spanning live music, game-day watch parties, and Seaport block parties. The centerpiece: Sadie's Garden, set to be the city's largest outdoor bar. Tin's is a Shanghai-inspired dumpling and cocktail bar on the Lower East Side, built around Sheng Jian Bao and a story-driven drinks program rooted in nostalgia and culture. The team are alumn of Michelin-starred bōm, Shinji's, and Eleven Madison Park. The team behind BRASS and The Tusk Bar is expanding at The Evelyn Hotel with a café and aperitif bar, reimagining the former Ninepin Café space with their signature design-led sensibility. Named after Italy's historic dance halls, Balera is a Romagna coast-inspired pizzeria from the team behind LaRina and Briscola, opening in Williamsburg with thin-crust Roman-style pies, handmade pastas, and a wine program built for exploration — 70% Italian, most bottles under $100, and serving a DOCG Martini made with Parmigiano Reggiano. Ms. Alice, a cocktail bar from Parched Hospitality Group (Daintree, Isla & Co.) will be opening inside The Merchant Hotel, centered on martinis, spritzes, and refined classics with an Australian flair. Golden Child, a rooftop bar above Hotel Park Ave NYC is set to open. Golden Child channels an Ivy League–inspired social club aesthetic across 3,500 square feet of indoor lounge and outdoor terrace with skyline views. The menu leans into nostalgic childhood treats with a gourmet twist, the signature Lunch Box arrives with a Pear, Brie and Jamon PB&J, a chocolate chip cookie, and a boozy Capri Sun, served alongside a cocktail program cheekily divided into Core Curriculum, Electives, and Honors Program sections. Linden Pride and Nathalie Hudson expand their Dante footprint into Nolita this spring with Elizabeth Street by Dante, featuring four offerings under one historic roof: a standalone Martini Bar, a wood-fire kitchen dining room, a private Italian spritz garden, and a lower-level cocktail lounge. Expect the classic Dante martinis, negronis, and spritzes, plus new food and drink unique to the location!
